A sad day for us here at Encore and A-Braxx-Us, a part of us is gone. Almost 11 years ago a beautiful litter was born and
among those lovely puppies was Atticus. We knew he was special early on and he never let us down. The epitome of true Boxer
temperament, Atticus was a joy to live with and an honor to know.
Sleep well our sweet boy. You are in our hearts forever...
The first to finish from his litter, Atticus was shown only 11 times in the classes. He was a
multiple Grand Sweepstakes Winner along the way, as well as the 1997 American Boxer Club Reserve
15 - 18 month Futurity Winner. Finished at 11 months by his breeder Cheryl Cates, Atticus is a
multiple Breed winner and is siring exceptional puppies.
While used sparingly at stud, Atticus is the sire of 12 champions, see progeny linked below, with several
other major pointed get. Atticus is a 25 1/2 inch, mahogany brindle, with an exceptional bite. He has
beautiful feet and bone, a gorgeous short back with a beautiful smooth shoulder, top line, and tail set. He is an
excellent mover, both coming and going, and side gait, and carries himself beautifully up over his front.
Atticus is from an all champion litter of 5 which includes

and Ch. Encore's Affair To Remember.
Shown as a Veteran for the first time at the October 2003 East Bay Boxer Club, Atticus wins the class both days under
breeders, Mr. T. Hutchings and Mr. T. Perrett. At just under 8 years of age, Atticus still carries himself around the ring
beautifully, and as you can see from the photos above, his outline is flawless!
On his third outing as a Veteran, just shy of his 8th birthday, Atticus wins the veterans class again and then goes on to
Specialty Best In Show under Ms. B. Linnell Clark at the January 2004 Boxer Club of Southern CA specialty. Quite an
accomplishment for this old man!
Winging off to the 2004 ABC National Specialty, Atticus strutted his stuff and was first in the 8 - 10 year old Veteran Dog
